No @SweetSpiced. My shitty luck persists, so I have a refrigerator and freezer jammed with food that is well on its way to being ruined. #
Apparently the landlady is conveniently there to let them in to turn OFF the power but not there to have them turn it back ON. #
I don't even know what to do with all of this food. by 24 hours the freezer will be thawed and anything perishable will be blown. #
The freezer itself IS an ice chest and a good one at that. Problem is, even with ise, the thawed food now has a shelf life of 3-5 days #
And half of it is my roomie's, so I have to straight up replace that. #
Thanks for the suggestions. this is further complicated by my having a follow-up Dr's appointment this evening and not having a car. #
But I have someone a few blocks away who I just verified has room in their fridge. #
The freezer IS full, so that is a blessing. Argh. It isn't as much the money (which sucks) but the potential waste (which I cannot abide.) #
