Calling All Kinky Anarchists!

Are you interested in BDSM — bondage/discipline, domination/submission, and sado-masochism? Have you been reluctant to talk about sex with other anarchists, activists, and radical folks in your social scene, for fear of having your fetishes and desires judged as “weird” or worse, “problematic”? Do you want to explore your sexuality, learn new skills, and meet play partners, but feel uncomfortable doing so in the larger BDSM or leather spaces? Are you interested in having theoretical conversations about BDSM that are grounded in a rejection of, not a celebration of, real-life authority and hierarchy?

We’re a handful of kinky anarchists hoping to create a BDSM space for ourselves and like-minded people. All are welcome: subs and doms, queer and straight folks, trans- and cisgender people, and pretty much everyone else. We’d like to meet up once a month for open discussion and possibly skillshares. There will be no dress codes, no formal protocol, no membership dues, and no elected board members. We claim no expertise nor advanced knowledge of BDSM, and none of us intend to “lead” the group — what we do and what we talk about will be driven by YOU. Curious? Show up to our first meeting, and let’s talk about what we all want out of a group like this!

This event is free, although a $1-5 donation for the space is encouraged for those who can afford it. http://anarchistbdsm.wordpress.com
